I was looking for something guaranteed not to fray as my border collie/husky loves to gnaw on things but she shreds through rope toys like a fiend. I was told this would last her a while but not even five minutes into her getting the toy, she’s frayed it almost apart. It wouldn’t be a problem if I wasn’t worried about her swallowing those fibers. Wish there was a tough toy that was great for gnawers AND tug of war.

I have been ordering numerous toys but my 17 month old dog loves the rope. It's her favorite and she gets extremely excited once ROPE is mentioned. As a matter of fact, she goes into her toy box every day and brings it for us to play. She is a chewer so it doesn't last long at all. Now I can't say the word, I have to spell it with my husband.
Our Westie really likes this tug-of-war toy. The smaller rope size handle makes it easy for him to grab on to and he really pulls on it. He also loves to play keep away with it.
Our active Corgi loves all of her PLAY toys, but especially her tug rope. She is a very aggressive chewer, so if you can create one that she can really sink her teeth into and gnaw on without fraying, she/we'd be over the moon.
