According to the ASPCA, 5-7 million companion animals enter shelters in the U.S. every year - that number doesn't even include the pets in the 5,000 independantly run shelters across the country. Sadly, due to space, time, and money, many of these pets don't see the outside of the shelter ever again.Think of all the things your favorite rescue or shelter could do with thousands of dollars worth of pet toys and supplies. While we would like to, many of us just don't have the resourses or money to donate thousands of dollars worth of supplies. Well, America's Favorite Veterinarian, Dr. Marty Becker, wants to help...

Some dogs eat everything in sight. In fact, there are even specific bowls to help slow down a dog's eating. My dog is not that dog. Our friends say it's our fault and that we spoil her so much. But she has always been picky - even as a puppy. Now five years old, we are constantly trying to figure out how to get her to eat her own food. Do Dogs Really Feel Guilt?

It's happened to all dog owners at least once. You come home, open the door, and find:
The furniture torn up
An "accident" on the carpet
Food on the counter missing
Fur all over the couch
(insert guilt-causing activity here)
Then when you start searching for the culprit you get...the look.. The "I'm so sorry, please don't be mad at me, look at my really cute face" look. But is the look your pup giving you, really an admission of guilt?...
