National Black Cat Appreciation Day - The Lo-Down

Some people think that black cats mean bad luck. I totally disagree. I've always had a special relationship with them, and because it's National Black Cat Appreciation Day today, I'd like to introduce you to all of the black (and black and white!) kitties in my life.

Without them, I would be very bored and lonely indeed.

1. My brother Miro and sister Vera

Look how fluffy we were! We spent the first 12 weeks of our lives together before mommy and daddy took me home. As kittens, we used to climb cat trees and chase after dead leaves and cuddle with each other. Of the three of us, I was 'the shy one' - although you could never tell by looking at me now!

2. My best friend Mons

Mons lives next door to my grandma and grandpa. The first time we met, Mons and I didn't get along. We wrestled each other in the grass, and mommy had to come separate us. I pulled out tufts from Mons' hair and everything. But we laugh about it now, and hang out every time I go visit.

3. My cousin Anti

Anti is the cat belonging to daddy's sister, so that makes her my cousin. She's friendly towards people, but there's been a couple of hissing episodes between us, and because of that we're never at the same event at the same time. But Anti has to be on this list, because she's family, after all <3
