Who Is Saving the Blue?
Saving the Blue is a nonprofit organization focused on the conservation of sharks, rays, and other marine species through research, education, and tracking initiatives. Their work helps scientists better understand ocean ecosystems while protecting vulnerable species around the world.
How Is Play Pet Brands Supporting Saving the Blue?
Play Pet Brands is honored to have sponsored an acoustic receiver and shark tag for Saving the Blue’s Caribbean Reef Shark Project. These tools help researchers track reef shark movements and gather valuable data that supports conservation efforts.
Through this partnership, we also “adopted” a Caribbean Reef Shark that our customers affectionately named Swim Shady.
